About LDS Activity Days

LDS Activity Days was created by Activity Day leaders who understand how difficult it can be to come up with ideas each week.

The leaders behind this site have over 15 years of experience working with Primary children, Cub Scouts, and Boy Scouts, girls and boys activity days and have spent countless hours planning activities that are fun, meaningful, and practical.

If you’ve ever been asked to plan an activity and thought, “What are we going to do this week?”—you’re not alone. Many leaders want to do something engaging and worthwhile, but don’t always have the time or resources to start from scratch.

This site exists to help other leaders who are struggling with ideas by sharing simple, proven activities that actually work.

Purpose of This Site

The goal of this website is to provide a growing collection of Activity Days ideas that are:

  • Simple to prepare
  • Engaging for children
  • Easy to adapt for different group sizes
  • Balanced across spiritual, social, physical, and intellectual growth

These ideas come from real experience—what works with actual groups of children, not just theory.

How to Use These Ideas

Many leaders find it helpful to follow a simple pattern:

  • Start with a high-energy game
  • Transition into the main activity
  • End with something meaningful or memorable

The ideas on this site are organized to support that flow and give you options each week without feeling overwhelmed.

Work in Progress

This website is still being built and improved. New ideas, full activity pages, and additional resources are being added over time. Look for event planning with a calendar.
