Choose the Right Relay

Choose the Right Relay combines movement with simple gospel decision-making. It works well when leaders want an activity that feels energetic but still leads naturally into a discussion about wise choices, kindness, honesty, and following Jesus Christ.

How To Run It

  1. Make simple cards with choices or situations such as telling the truth, sharing, teasing, helping, or obeying a parent.
  2. Place the cards in one stack, basket, or pile at the starting line.
  3. Set up two categories at the far end of the room such as "Choose the Right" and "Needs a Better Choice."
  4. Split the group into teams and have one child from each team take the top card from the stack, run it to the category they think is correct, and place it there.
  5. A leader quickly checks the choice, then the next child in line takes a new card and goes.
  6. After a few rounds, stop and read some of the cards together so the group can explain why the choice fits that category.
  7. Finish with a short testimony or discussion about how small choices shape who we become.
