Compliment Circle Activity

How To Run It

1. Seat the children in a circle and explain what a sincere compliment sounds like.
2. Give examples that focus on actions, effort, and kindness rather than appearance.
3. Choose a talking object or pass a paper heart around the circle.
4. Have each child give a compliment to the person next to them or to someone whose name they draw.
5. Help children rephrase vague comments into specific kind words.
6. Close by talking about how words can help people feel included.
