How To Run It

  1. Talk about how family stories help us understand who we are.
  2. Share one short family memory as an example.
  3. Brainstorm good interview questions with the group.
  4. Have each child choose a person they could interview at home.
  5. Let children write five to eight questions on a worksheet.
  6. Practice asking one question with a partner and listening carefully.
