How To Run It

  1. Label four corners with numbers, colors, words, or pictures.
  2. Have children stand in the center of the room.
  3. Call out one corner and a movement direction, such as "blue corner, skip."
  4. Children move to that corner as quickly and safely as they can.
  5. Call a new corner and movement after everyone arrives.
  6. Keep the pace quick for several rounds, then transition into the main activity.
