Friendship Bingo Mixer
Friendship Bingo helps children learn about each other without putting too much pressure on anyone to speak in front of the whole group. It works well at the beginning of the year or any time you want the group to feel more connected.
How To Run It
- Create a bingo sheet with prompts such as likes pizza, has a pet, or enjoys drawing.
- Give each child a sheet and ask them to talk to different people, writing one person's name in each box that matches the prompt.
- Encourage them to use a different person's name in each square when possible so the group keeps mingling.
- Gather back together and invite a few children to share something they learned about someone else.
Leader Tips
- Use simple prompts that fit the age of the group.
- Include a few funny prompts to make conversation easier.
- Pair younger children with a helper if needed.
Bingo Card
Print one copy per child. Have them write one other child's name in each square that matches the prompt, using a different name in each box when possible. The same card can be reused for the whole group, so you do not need multiple card versions unless you want more variety later.
