How To Run It

  1. Give each child a short rope or thick cord.
  2. Demonstrate one knot slowly while children watch.
  3. Repeat the demonstration while children follow along.
  4. Let partners check each other's knots and gently help.
  5. Teach a second knot only after most children can tie the first.
  6. Show one practical use for each knot.
