Missionary Letter Night

Missionary Letter Night gives children a simple way to encourage missionaries and learn that small notes of faith can bless people who are serving far from home.

How To Run It

  1. Gather names of missionaries from the ward, stake, or families before the activity.
  2. Briefly explain what missionaries do and why encouragement matters.
  3. Brainstorm kind messages the children could write.
  4. Have each child write a short note, draw a picture, or add a scripture thought.
  5. Check each card for names and respectful wording before sealing envelopes.
  6. Close by praying for the missionaries or talking about ways to share the gospel.
