Social Activity
Role-Play Kind Choices
Role-Play Kind Choices helps children practice real social situations before they face them at school, church, or home.
How To Run It
- Write short situations on cards before the activity.
- Explain that the goal is to practice kind responses, not to embarrass anyone.
- Let pairs or small groups choose a card and plan a short role-play.
- Have each group act out the problem and a kind solution.
- Ask the audience what choice helped the situation improve.
- Repeat with a few scenarios and close with one choice children can use this week.
Scenario Ideas
- Someone is left out of a game.
- A friend feels sad after losing.
- Two children want the same supply.
- Someone says an unkind joke.
- A new child does not know where to sit.
